Company Overview
C&F is a dynamic company that provides a small number of services to a very high standard. Each of the divisions is headed by a specialist in that field and our clients will only deal with a single point of contact.
We have the advantage of having broad ranging experience in-house with particular experience in construction, agriculture, the military and project management. This allows us to 'cherry pick' best practice from different areas and apply it in the most effective way to individual projects.
Japanese Knotweed
The Japanese Knotweed division is the only one which works nationally. It has a pragmatic approach to dealing with invasive weeds and is not restricted to just Japanese Knotweed but can comfortably deal with other problems such as Himalayan Balsam and Giant Hogweed.
Control and eradication solutions range from simple herbicide application by spray or stem injection and some other novel techniques to full excavation and installation of containment cells.
Tree Work
C&F can deal with any type of tree work that we encounter, from dismantling with cranes to pruning Leylandii; planting or felling, we cover the whole spectrum. Although our tree surgeons work mainly in and around St Albans we cover a huge area surrounding St Albans -from Bedford down to Watford and from Aylesbury across to Stevenage. Our tree surgery work is fully insured and our tree surgeons are highly qualified and have years of experience. This year we aim to become 'Approved Contractors' under the Arborist Association scheme.
Security
The Security division deals with the both the installation of electronic security measures such as alarm systems and CCTV as well as physical security such as fencing, signage, flood lighting, and reinforcing doors, windows and walls.
Advances in GSM and wireless technology mean that we can offer our clients the opportunity to remotely monitor their own security systems.
